Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
MindBlitz Games ("we," "our," or "us") operates the MindBlitz Games mobile application (the "App") available on the Google Play Store for Android devices. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our App. By downloading, installing, or using MindBlitz Games, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information stored locally on your device
MindBlitz Games does not require account creation or login. Game data — such as your scores, progress, settings, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences storage. This data:
- Stays on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers
- Is not linked to your identity
- Is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App or clear the App's data
1.2 Information collected automatically (via third-party services)
While we do not directly collect personal data, we use third-party services that may automatically collect certain information to provide advertising and analytics functionality, including:
- Advertising ID (Google Play's resettable device identifier)
- Device information (model, OS version, language settings)
- IP address (approximate location such as country/region)
- App usage data (session length, screens viewed, crash logs)
- Network information (carrier, connection type)
This information is collected by our third-party partners as described below, not directly by MindBlitz Games.
1.3 Permissions used by the App
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Internet | Required to load advertisements and send anonymous analytics data |
| Vibrate / Notifications | Used for in-game haptic feedback and optional game notifications |
We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, or photos.
2. Third-Party Services We Use
2.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to display in-app advertisements. AdMob may collect the Advertising ID, IP address, and device/usage data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. AdMob operates under Google's policies:
You can opt out of personalized ads via Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization on your Android device, or by resetting your Advertising ID.
2.2 Firebase / Google Analytics (Analytics & crash reporting)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to identify and fix crashes. Data collected is aggregated and does not directly identify you. See the Firebase Privacy Policy.
2.3 No in-app purchases
MindBlitz Games does not offer in-app purchases, and we do not collect any payment or billing information.
2.4 No user accounts
The App does not offer sign-up, login, or social media authentication of any kind. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords from users.
3. How We Use Information
Information collected through third-party services is used to:
- Display and personalize advertisements
- Measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud
- Analyze app usage trends to improve gameplay and fix bugs
- Diagnose and resolve technical/crash issues
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Children's Privacy
MindBlitz Games is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App or its third-party services, we will take steps to have that information removed in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Because the App uses Google AdMob, ads served may be subject to Google's policies for mixed-audience apps. Parents/guardians who believe their child has provided information through this App may contact us for removal requests.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through our third-party service providers. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Since most game data stays locally on your device via SharedPreferences, your device's own security settings (screen lock, encryption) also help protect this data.
6. Data Retention
- Locally stored data (SharedPreferences) remains on your device until you uninstall the App or manually clear app data.
- Advertising/analytics data collected by Google AdMob and Firebase is retained according to Google's own data retention policies.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding data collected by our third-party partners, including the right to:
- Opt out of personalized advertising
- Reset or limit your Advertising ID via device settings
- Request information about data processed by Google via myaccount.google.com
EU/EEA/UK users (GDPR): Google AdMob and Firebase act as independent data controllers for the data they collect. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details on exercising your GDPR rights.
California users (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You may contact us to ask what categories of data (if any) are associated with your device through our third-party partners.
8. Third-Party Links
Our App may contain links to third-party websites or ads leading to external content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal/regulatory reasons. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
